The HSE – Health Service Executive – is Ireland’s public funded national health service.
It is responsible for the provision of all health and personal social services. It is the Irish equivalent of the UK’s NHS and a public provider of health and care services.
The HSE operates over 50 public hospitals, and more than 30 local health centers located across Ireland.
HSE employs over 100,000 people in order to provide comprehensive care for the Republic of Ireland.
